Project topic

The company hire about 300 people and manufacture only for domestic market. It is not new company, but we develop very fast and we need to improve taking orders.

We produce products for both markets: consumer(products from catalogue) and professional(special products not from catalogue).

Since customers started to order more often special products (not form catalogue), there are more organizational problems which are not easy to solve.

Confirmation of special products takes too much time(around 6 days)which sometimes is too long for our customers and they resign to work with us.



• Process Name: Enter order.
• Customer(s) and stakeholders:

Customer: The primary customer is a buyer who order our product.

Stakeholder: The primary stakeholder in this company are employees who are responsible for orders and the whole company because it will benefit from this process in a future.

• Results / output: Time of ordering product which is not specified in catalogue is decreased and now all mess with these products is well organized. There is special department which is responsible for price list of special products.

• Trigger: A customer is browsing our catalogue, when he can’t find product which he wants to buy, he calls to our company and ordering this specific product. Process begins here when customer orders the product.

• Steps/ Milestones: Taking an order from customer, checking if the product is concluded in catalogue,

if it is: confirmation of order, order goes to factory, process ends.

if it isn’t: the order goes to consultation, first by designer, second by technologist and the last by economist,

approved: confirmation of order, order goes to factory, process ends.
not approved: refusal of acceptance, process ends.
